Connor McNellis

Connor McNellis has deep finance and real estate experience across a wide range of industries, including renewable energy assets. Connor represents owners, developers, lenders, investors, borrowers and tenants in complex real estate transactions including commercial leasing, option agreements, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, debt and equity finance transactions, project financing, real estate, M&A, construction and construction financing, and work-outs.

At the beginning of his career, Connor spent years representing title insurance companies and their insureds, acquiring extensive expertise in issues relating to survey, title and title insurance, real estate due diligence, and title clearance. He then spent time clerking for an appellate judge, followed by work representing developers in land use litigation. This background gives Connor a unique appreciation for the nuts and bolts of due diligence and pursuing successful transactions and/or development while avoiding thorny disputes.

For the past several years, Connor has focused on helping clients successfully navigate development and transactions involving wind, energy storage, biofuel, solar, fuel cells, and other renewable energy assets, ranging from utility-scale developments to C&I. This includes review of option agreements, power purchase agreements, EPC contracts, as well as structuring and successfully closing early- and late-stage capitalization in the nature of equity and/or debt.
